Puzzle #16: **The previous page is essential here.**
We're nearly there and we've nearly found our first ETERNAL NUMBER that we're hunting for. It's hidden in this book somehow. But how do I find it?

Hint #1
Hint #1: Skimming back to the end of the introduction chapter I can see an illustration of how to find the eternal code. For sector 2 there's a picture of a book in a circle, and some writing on that book. It seems to line up with the page I've found.

Hint #2: The ripped segment on Page 39 has L2C20 and "r" circled. It would appear that this is LINE 2, CHARACTER 20.

Hint #3: Ah the other clues are L4C3, L15C23, L11C8 and L10C10. I need to find the line for each of these and count along the characters and see what letter I find. I'll have to use both parts of the ripped document to do this.
