The airlock, but it needs a code and there's nothing immediately obvious I can do to get it!

Hint #1 - Wait, that window looks a bit suspicious. A 4x4 grid? Just like a PAT code...

Hint #2 - Perhaps each star indicates a filled in square? But that's not a valid PAT code. Unless I rotate clockwise by 90 degrees...

Hint #3 - PAT code is HVJ

Hint #4 - Of course PAT can't just GIVE us the answer. He gives us coordinates. And these don't match up with the asteroid coordinates. Maybe they're ship coordinates?

Hint #5 - One of the previous clues gave me ship coordinates and I used these to predict where the ship would be and at what time. Perhaps if I do that again, or look over my workings, the answer is there?

Hint #6 - Aha, 14:30. But the answer needs to be MMHH, so that must mean...

Puzzle #37 - As mentioned in the title. The map on some versions of the book is wrong. I've pinched a copy of the page from an Italian user (Music and Boardgames on instagram) and attached it to this post. But in brief, the printing error shows that all exists lead to Sector 2. The top left should be sector 2, the top right sector 3, the bottom sector 4.

Ok, so now we need to find an airlock to find the number on the side of the ship! But which airlock do we use?

Hint #1 - Well, first of all, where is the number? The page with hints about the numbers at the end of the introduction should give me a hint here!

Hint #2 - Ok, this sector map for sector 1 looks a little different to the others. There's loads of letters, and lots of -E, -F. What's the minus for? The pattern seems to go AA, AB, AC, -D, -E.

Hint #3 - Aha, so it's just a short hand notation. So in the example above AA, AB, AC, -D, -E is actually AA, AB, AC, AD, AE and so on.

Hint #4 - I need to orientate myself. So the clue about the number was at the end of the introduction. The number appears to be in Sector #4 along the side of the ship. What airlock is closest to that?

Hint #5 - Ok, I think the letters are "BS" but what are the numbers? Is it 4? Technically the airlock spans 4 in to the next map. Checking sector 4 map, it does indeed start at "5".

Solution - BS

This looks way more complicated than it is! On which of these 8 paths would the ship hit an asteroid fragment?

Hint #1 - We know from previous clues around the ship trajectory, that this it is travelling at a constant speed, and that speed is 20,000mph. For ease in these clues, we'll say 20mph.

Hint #2 - Based on the clue from Puzzle #35 we know how fast each of the three asteroids are travelling. We should be able to figure out which paths intersect with this information/

Hint #3 - So the bottom two asteroids are travelling 10mph. That means for every dot they cover, our ship will have covered 2 dots. The top asteroid is travelling 20mph. So the dots should be equal.

We're going to blast that asteroid with a laser! But despite this being a super high tech ship, we're still going to have to do the calculations ourselves! Where will the asteroid be when the laser is chargeD?

Hint #1 - You can see how fast the laser is charging based on the last few pages. There's a clock on each page, and the bars represent how far from charged it is. You should be able to judge how long it'll take to be fully charged.

Hint #2 - You also know where the asteroid will be at certain times based on the ticker on the previous page. When the laser is charged, where will it be?

Solution - (256.927, 62.095)

Puzzle #34 - *You'll need the clue from Puzzle 23 to get this one*

I've got to figure out what time the Asteroid will hit the ship! That'll tell me how long I've got to find a solution to the problem.

Hint #1 - The clue from yesterday shows me the ships trajectory for 4:30 to 5:45, the page today shows me the trajectory for the asteroid. I need to find when the two are the same

Hint #2 - Yesterday's clue only goes up to 5:45 but that's enough for me to figure out how far I'm going every 15 minutes. So every fifteen minutes I'm going (+0.010, -0.020). Using this I should be able to plot out where I'm at for every fifteen minutes. Excel is handy here!

Hint #3 - What time are the coordinates I've created the same as the ones plotted for the asteroid?

Solution - 07:15

Puzzle #33 - This one is a toughy! We've got to figure out which asteroid threatens the ship. In fact what we need to do is identify which one of these is an asteroid, the others are stars.

Hint #1 - Scanning the QR code takes you to Google Sky, which I'd never used before this point. It's a little overwhelming at first! Just be aware you can zoom in and zoom out. You are looking for a view that matches what you have in the book, with ONE of the stars missing. That missing star is your asteroid.

Hint #2 - It's like looking for a needle in a haystack. You need to zoom in SOME of the way, but not to the max. I've attached a screenshot to this post of the area you need.

Hint #3 - Which is an asteroid, not a know star?

Welcome to Sector 1! I think this might be my favourite series of puzzles! But to business, there's an alarm going off and we're going to be hit by an asteroid. That's not a good start! Where's it coming from? We need to give the grid reference.

Hint #1 - By now (unless you jumped to Sector #1 first!) you should be used to hunting for PAT codes. Is there anything that looks vaguely like one? But it doesn't work! How about turning the book 90 degrees clockwise?

Hint #2 - KHP is the PAT code. And PAT has given us three references to use. How can we combine these?

Hint #3 - Hopefully you've been able to find the four references. Get out a ruler and draw a line between the furthest points so they cross in the middle. So M485 to M584, and M395 to MO24. Where these cross is the sector we want.
